What We Deliver and Why It Matters
Up to 10 Custom Pages
A complete store needs more than just a shop page. Your site includes a Home page that converts visitors, an About page that builds trust, a Shop page with your product catalogue, individual product pages, a Contact page, and additional pages suited to your business — FAQs, delivery policy, returns, or a blog. Each page is designed for both readability and SEO performance.
20 Products — Configured and Live
We load up to 20 products into your store during the build: product images resized and optimised, descriptions written or edited for clarity and SEO, pricing set, categories assigned, and stock management configured. You provide the product details and images — we handle the setup. At handover, your store is ready to take orders, not just ready to be filled.
WooCommerce on WordPress
WooCommerce is the most widely used eCommerce platform in the world, built on WordPress. It handles everything from simple product catalogues to complex variable products, digital downloads, and subscription services. Because it runs on WordPress, you own the platform entirely — no monthly platform fees, no percentage taken from your sales, and no lock-in to a proprietary system. When you outgrow 20 products, you simply add more. When you need new functionality, there are thousands of extensions available.
PayFast and PayPal Integration
We integrate and test your payment gateways before handover. PayFast is the leading South African payment processor — it accepts credit and debit cards, EFT, SnapScan, and Zapper, and deposits directly into your South African bank account in Rands. PayPal is included for international customers or buyers who prefer it. Both gateways are configured in test mode first, verified with test transactions, then switched to live before your store launches.
eCommerce SEO
Online stores require more SEO work than standard sites — every product page and every category page is an indexable URL that can rank in Google. We optimise product page titles, meta descriptions, product descriptions for relevant keywords, image alt text, category page structure, and URL slugs. Your store is submitted to Google Search Console at launch. For local retailers in Heidelberg and the Garden Route, we target both product-specific and location-based search terms.
Mobile-Responsive Design
A significant portion of online purchases in South Africa happen on mobile devices. Your store is built and tested to work correctly on smartphones — product images, the add-to-cart flow, the checkout process, and payment completion all function smoothly on small screens. A checkout that breaks on mobile loses sales; ours does not.
Contact Form and Google Maps
A working contact form and your business location on the contact page. For stores with a physical presence — a workshop, studio, farm stall, or shop — showing your location builds confidence and answers the question customers always ask: are these real people I can visit or contact directly?
Free Domain — First Year
One free domain registration for the first year via AbsoluteHosting. Your store’s domain is its address — we register it and connect it during the build. Specify your preferred domain in the order notes. Standard renewal rates apply from year two.
How the Process Works
- You place your order and we contact you within one business day for an intake — we collect your brand assets, product information, payment gateway account details, and preferred domain
- We build the store and load your products, then send a preview link including a test checkout walk-through for your review
- You submit feedback for up to two revision rounds
- We run final payment gateway testing, submit to Google Search Console, publish the store, and hand over full admin access with a walkthrough of WooCommerce and WordPress
Delivery is 10 to 14 business days from receipt of your product details, images, and branding. The more complete your product information at intake, the faster we deliver.
What You Need to Prepare
To build your store, we need from you:
- Your logo and brand colours (if defined)
- Product names, descriptions, prices, and stock quantities for up to 20 products
- Product images — minimum one per product, ideally on a clean background
- Your PayFast merchant account credentials (we can guide you through creating one if needed)
- Your delivery policy — rates, areas covered, and any free delivery thresholds
- Your returns and refund policy
If you do not yet have a PayFast account, we will assist you in setting one up as part of the onboarding process. It takes approximately one to two business days to get approved.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I add more than 20 products after launch?
Yes. WooCommerce has no product limit. You can add products yourself through the WordPress dashboard at any time after handover. We provide a walkthrough of the product management interface on completion.
Which payment methods does PayFast support?
PayFast accepts Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards, instant EFT, SnapScan, Zapper, Mobicred, and more. Funds are deposited into your South African bank account, typically within one to three business days.
Can customers pay by EFT or cash on delivery?
Yes. WooCommerce supports manual payment methods including direct bank transfer (EFT) and cash on delivery. We can configure these alongside PayFast if you want to offer multiple payment options.
Is hosting included?
Website design and hosting are separate. For a WooCommerce store, we recommend our Pro Plan Web Hosting (R1,155/year) or our Pro+ Plan (R1,815/year) for stores expecting higher traffic — both include daily backups and sufficient resources for WooCommerce. We configure hosting as part of your onboarding.
What happens when I get more than 20 products?
You manage additional products yourself through the WooCommerce dashboard — it is straightforward. If you want us to load a large batch of additional products after launch, contact us and we will quote for that work separately.
Do you offer ongoing support after launch?
Yes. Our Website Maintenance Plan covers monthly WordPress and WooCommerce updates, security monitoring, backups, and performance checks. For an active online store, keeping plugins and WooCommerce updated is essential — outdated plugins are the most common cause of checkout failures and security vulnerabilities.
Ready to Open Your Online Store?
Add to cart and we will be in touch within one business day to start the intake process. Have your product details, logo, and preferred domain name ready. If you have questions about scope, payment gateway setup, or hosting before purchasing, contact us — we respond the same business day.
