This policy explains how refunds and cancellations are handled.
1. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on new web hosting packages.
You are eligible for a full refund if:
- You cancel within 30 days of your first hosting purchase.
- You have not violated our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.
- The refund request is made in writing to support@sitesavvysa.co.za.
⚠️ This guarantee only applies to first-time hosting purchases. Renewals, domain registrations, and third-party services are excluded.
2. Non-Refundable Services
The following services are not eligible for refunds:
- Domain name registrations, renewals, or transfers (as these are registered instantly with third parties).
- SSL certificates (once issued).
- Email-only hosting plans.
- One-time services such as website setup, malware removal, or custom design work.
- VPS or Dedicated Server plans, once provisioned.
- Renewals of any service.
3. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel any service by:
- Logging into your client portal, or
- Sending a cancellation request to support@sitesavvysa.co.za.
If you cancel after the 30-day window:
- Your service remains active until the end of the paid billing cycle.
- No partial refunds will be issued.
4. Refund Method
- Refunds are processed via the original payment method (PayFast, EFT, or card).
- Refunds are usually processed within 7 business days of approval.
- For EFT refunds, you must provide your South African banking details.
5. Chargebacks and Disputes
If you believe you were charged incorrectly:
- Contact us within 7 days of the charge to resolve it quickly.
- Filing a chargeback through your bank or card issuer without first contacting us may result in suspension of your services and account.
6. Exceptional Circumstances
We reserve the right to decline a refund if:
- Services were used in violation of our Terms or Acceptable Use Policy.
- There is abuse, misuse, or excessive consumption of server resources.
- Refund requests are made after the 30-day period.
7. Changes to This Policy
